Completing CG Spectrum’s Game Design program immersed me in every stage of the development pipeline—from initial concept and system design to final polish and post-mortem analysis. Over 12 months, I gained hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, authored comprehensive design documents, and maintained project integrity. Through bi-weekly sprints in a peer-driven agile framework, I prototyped varied gameplay loops, balanced progression systems, and refined level layouts based on iterative playtesting. One-on-one guidance from AAA studio mentors honed my skills in user-centric UI design, narrative integration, and cross-disciplinary communication with other developers. My capstone—a level demo showcasing refined mechanics, unified visual direction, and analytics-driven adjustments—now anchors a portfolio crafted to meet the standards of modern game studios.
